Portal Customization
Customize your public portal to match your brand and provide a consistent experience for data subjects.
Accessing Customization Settings
- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Click the Branding & Portal tab
- Make your changes
- Click Save Changes
- Preview your portal
Branding Options
Company Name
Your organization’s name displayed prominently on the portal.
- Appears in the header
- Used in email communications
- Shown in the footer
Company Logo
Upload your logo for brand recognition.
- Recommended size: 200x50 pixels (or proportional)
- Formats: PNG, JPG, SVG
- Transparent backgrounds work best
Primary Brand Color
Set the main color used for buttons and accents.
- Used for the “Send Code” button
- Applied to links and highlights
- Enter hex code (e.g., #667eea)
Contact Email
The support email shown to data subjects.
- Displayed in portal footer
- Used for “Contact us” links
- Should be monitored for inquiries

Privacy Notice URL
Link to your organization’s privacy policy.
- Required for compliance
- Shown before request submission
- Must be accessible publicly
Custom Welcome Message
Optional message displayed on the portal.
- Introduce your organization
- Set expectations for the process
- Provide helpful information
Request Types Enabled
Control which request types are available.
- Enable/disable specific GDPR rights
- Simplify for common use cases
- “Other” for edge cases
Preview Your Portal
After making changes:
- Click Preview Portal
- Opens in new tab
- Test the experience
- Verify branding appears correctly
- Return to settings if changes needed
